Snow Day

We had another pile of snow, just in time for Mommy's birthday! It also happened to be the same day as the UNC vs. Duke game. So I made sure to dress appropriately.

The right sweatshirt, pants!, and boots.

New Year & Resolutions

Welcome back! To me anyway :) I have been very busy since moving to Memphis in October and mommy says that she has a resolution to do better about posting to the blog, whatever that means.
So brace yourself, here comes a recap.

My first day of school at Buntyn.

Picking out Pumpkins for Halloween.

Dressed up as a fairy for Halloween.

Trying to turn daddy into a prince!

Flying to Gramma's for Thanksgiving. My first plane trip, and I was a champ!

I studied the safety card very thoroughly, giving it a good 20 minutes or so.

I got to go into the cockpit and meet the captain after the flight.
He even let me try on his hat.

After Thanksgiving it finally got cold, and Mommy MADE me wear pants! Trust me, I was not happy about this, and it didn't last long. I have worn them 3-4 more times, but mostly for snow.

Cupcakes for my birthday.
Same recipe from my 1st birthday, but much prettier this time!

Sampling the icing with Gramma, just to make sure it was O.K.

My favorite present was my new princess dress.
I have worn it for part of every day since.

Getting ready to blow out my candle.

Annual birthday photo shoot, only I wasn't interested in smiling. (see below)

Time for Christmas!

Digging down deep to see what Mrs. Claus brought me.
I am too afraid of Santa for him to come to our house, so she came instead. Wasn't that nice?

Checking daddy out in my new M.D. outfit.
Though I like it better when worn over my princess dress.

In January we have had lots of snow!
I love to play in it, so I will put on pants for this.

My first Snowman.

So that sums up the last few months. Since the latest snow we have moved again (thanks to something living in the attic that we didn't invite), and are getting settled (again)! I can't wait for spring when I can really get some mileage out of my back yard swing and ride my bike on the sidewalk out front! Oh yeah, and that's when my baby brother is supposed to come.

The Big Day

I got to be a part of my cousin Katie's wedding and I had a most fantastic time. I wanted to thank her again for allowing me to be the wiggliest flower girl on record, but I still talk about her being a princess and her wedding. Below are a few shots from the reception, Mommy was so busy trying to keep me together, that she forgot to take any pictures at all! So a big thank you to our cousin Elizabeth for these few.

We are here!

Just a quick update to tell everyone that we have arrived in Memphis, aka "our new house" and it's not bad at all. Granted, I got to go to the Zoo with my super fun friend Heather on my first full day here, so who can complain.

Mommy says that there will be pictures soon but that she has to find the camera cord. Until then, I will be looking forward to my "big girl school" which starts on Tuesday!

Kanuga 2010

So I was going to write about all the great people I met at Kanuga this year, and all the fantastic activities, but then I looked at my pics and realized that all I really did was go swimming and play with Ruthie (and her baby sister Mary Mae). So here's the recap of that.

Churning butter (or mashing apples) in the dining hall.
Mommy is grateful for this antique as it was the only way she got to finish a meal all week.

Swimmin' with Neely T.

Coming back from the Lake, looking like an Ewok.

Playing with Ruthie in the sand box.

Bathing Beauties.

Last night with Ruthie at the Baker Building.

Saying goodbye for another year is never fun :(

Beach with the Canadys

Mommy, Daddy & I went to Holden Beach for a long weekend with Paul, Emily & Ollie. Of course with both Daddies being priests, our long weekend was Wednesday - Saturday, but I didn't mind.Matching outfits?! They put us in Matching outfits!

Ollie is pretty cute though...

But I'll take cupcakes over boys any day.

We spent lots of time in the sand

there was plenty of beach to run on

I loved it!

Hitching a ride.
